The First around statistical analysis is carried out by Samm Riley and the Team at Wedding Matters. The scores from 1-5 for each area of competence are added up and then divided by the number of votes to give an average score out of 20, the best scores become finalists (subject to qualifying under the terms and conditions). The customer comments for the finalists are then forwarded to Judging panel below who make their judgements independtly of each other and of Wedding Matters, based on how well their mission statement matches what their customers have said about them. Judges are asked to choose a 1st and 2nd choice for each category. 1st choice is awarded 2 points and 2nd choice is awarded 1 point. The points are then added together to find a winner, in the event of a draw, the qualifying score is referred to and the business that qualified highest is the winner. |
